FREQUENCIES: Fenway—Community Art in Motion

On October 6th, ReprezentU was proud to attend and engage with FREQUENCIES: FENWAY at Edgeley Plaza, where Maria Finkelmeier and Allison Tanenhaus invited the community into a shared audio-visual experience. The night pulsed with voices, ambient sounds, and responsive visuals — locals smiled, stopped to listen, and even contributed their own “frequencies.”

“It felt like the whole neighborhood was pulsing together,” said Rachel of ReprezentU.

This October, the project moves across Fenway:

  • Oct 9 – MFA Boston

  • Oct 14 – Duck House

  • Oct 17 – Queensberry Laundromat

  • Oct 23 – Cisco Brewers Fenway (Final Celebration)

Each event offers a chance for residents and visitors to share soundscapes and stories and to see how those threads weave into neighborhood identity.

Supported by:

  • Fenway Alliance & Fenway Community Center

  • City of Boston’s Arts & Culture and Planning Department

  • Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture & City of Boston Planning Department

ReprezentU celebrates art that amplifies real voices and deepens connection. We hope to see you at one of the upcoming nights!
