20 Years and Counting — Celebrating the Fenway Alliance
On Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we joined the Fenway Alliance and community partners in celebrating 20 years and counting since opening their doors. The kickoff celebration took place at Christian Science Plaza, marking a day filled with art, music, and community throughout the Fenway Cultural District.
The day began with a beautiful performance by the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, whose music brought warmth and harmony to a cool, rainy morning. At the end of the opening celebration, Mayor Michelle Wu joined in on piano, performing alongside several of the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra youth — a touching moment that highlighted Boston’s deep connection to music, creativity, and community spirit.
The celebration was produced by the Fenway Alliance, with support from the Boston Cultural Council, Mass Cultural Council, Fenway Cultural District, and the City of Boston’s Office of Arts and Culture.
