Boston Tenant March for Rent Control – July 29, 2025

We joined hundreds of residents, organizers, and housing advocates for the Boston Tenant March at the MA State House. Representing our neighborhood and Fenway CDC, we proudly stood in solidarity—and documented the powerful moments of this urgent call for rent control.

We were honored to capture the spirit of unity and resistance among tenants all across Massachusetts—Lynn, Worcester, Brockton, Springfield, and beyond—all demanding protections against rising rents and no-fault evictions.

The march highlighted ongoing support for legislative efforts like Bill S.1447, which would allow cities to cap rent increases and stabilize housing. Advocates made it clear: the housing crisis isn’t just about building more—it’s about keeping people in their homes now.

Our photos tell the story of this movement—neighbors standing together, voices raised for justice, and a shared determination to fight displacement. As members of the Fenway community, it was deeply meaningful to document a moment that reflects our collective hopes for secure, affordable housing.
