JUNKYARD MARKET JAMBOREE

A Celebration of Community, Creativity, and Culture

ReprezentU had fun watching the neigborhood enjoy Edgerly Plaza and documenting a vibrant day filled with music, movement, and connection. This open-air marketplace, jazz jam, and line dancing event brought people together through art, rhythm, and community spirit.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible individuals and organizations who brought this vision to life:

  • Marie Fukuda, Community and Open Space Advocate with the Fenway Civic Association, played a key role in organizing and championing this event. Her commitment to public space, equity, and meaningful community connection continues to shape vibrant moments like this one in our neighborhood.

  • Jeremy Serbee of Junkyard LLC curated a dynamic marketplace filled with local vendors, artists, and musicians. His thoughtful planning and execution added depth and vibrancy to the day.

  • Angela Dickerson, Creative Director of Dance in Boston, led an engaging and inclusive line dancing session that turned the plaza into a joyful dance floor for all.

  • Maria Daniela Castillo, along with Nate Lash and the City of Boston’s Streets Cabinet, contributed their vision and support to activate Edgerly Plaza as a space for community gathering and creative expression.

  • Special thanks to Berklee College of Music and Age Strong Boston for helping make this event possible through their generous support.

Woman-owned and rooted in purpose, we bring community-driven events to life through powerful, creative storytelling.
